The Department of English has grown in stature over the years since its inception in 2015. The English Department reaches out to every other department in the college, awakening students to the beauty of English Language and honing their creative and communicative skills. Creativity is a unique feature of all the events in the department. The department conducts inter and intra departmental competitions every year in the association named MNEMOSYNE. Various clubs under MNEMOSYNE organize many literary events and competitions. The Certificate courses  facilitates the students to enhance their Professional Skills with workshops and courses. The department  conducts Seminars, Lecture series, and Webinars which are useful for the students and faculty development programmes for the staff. Intense teacher-student interaction on curricular and co-curricular issues. The department enhances Soft skills Communicative English and Professional English for all the students enabling them for successful careers.
